PCB Meets with ACC to Strengthen Governance in State-Owned Enterprises

PCB and ACC discussed enhancing integrity and governance in SOEs through improved procurement practices, training initiatives, and collaborative anti-corruption efforts.

The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) met with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to strengthen integrity and governance in State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). Discussions focused on incorporating PCB procurement guidelines into awareness programmes, ongoing training initiatives, and introducing mandatory induction programmes for procurement and finance staff.

Both parties also highlighted opportunities to enhance cooperation in capacity building and anti-corruption efforts in the Maldives.
