Technical Director - Monitoring and Evaluation

Usaidh Asadhulla, ACMA, CGMA

Usaidh Asadhulla is the Technical Director of Monitoring and Evaluation at the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) and a visiting lecturer at the Maldives National University (MNU), where he teaches university students about corporate governance, professional ethics, internal audit, and risk management. Bringing extensive real-world depth to both oversight and academia, he has been heavily involved in drafting multiple key policies that required high-level stakeholder engagements, drawing on his experience across government ministries, State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), and the private sector. His versatile background stems primarily from his private sector tenure, where he explored diverse operational areas beyond finance and governance, including human resources. Usaidh holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of the West of the England (UWE), is a CIMA Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and is certified by the Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA) through both its Directors Training Programme and the Local Authority Companies (LAC) Directors Training Programme. Mr. Usaidh joined the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) on July 5, 2023.

Mariyam Soafiya

Mrs. Mariyam Soafiya holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and possesses eight years of experience in the private sector, with a specialization in administration and finance. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a strong track record of optimizing organizational processes, overseeing financial operations, and delivering proactive, solution-oriented leadership. She is also the board secretary of Privatization and Corporatization Board. Mrs. Soafiya joined the PCB on July 21, 2024.
